Simple Strategies for Self-Care for your body, mind and home

Have you ever set goals for yourself? Practiced self-care? Made a plan to make self-care a priority? This is not about new year’s resolutions, just simple strategies for self-care. My goals either have to do with my health/body, my work or stuff that needs to get done around the house. I usually start with a “To Do” list that I put on a pad and then cross off each thing as it gets done. This has worked just OK for most of my adult life. But all too often that note pad gets filled with other things, the to-do list gets misplaced or tucked behind other notes on my bulletin board.

For 2018

I’ve decided to try something a little different. So I treated myself a large pretty planner. Very girly. At first it was just for my business to keep me on track with the various aspects of being an entrepreneur. But, I’ve decided to include personal goals, thoughts, ideas for later and monthly reviews as well. This way, I’ve got everything I need in one place.

Checklist

While doing a little researching for this blog post, I came across many self-care check lists. I figured no one checklist or strategy list would have just what I wanted because, after all, I always do things just a bit differently then most people. So I made my own to share with you.

I’ve broken it down into my three favorite categories: body, mind and home. There are two parts. First is a checklist to see just where you’re at. Then, to take it a step further, there’s a workbook. The worksbook includes some strategies to help you along as well as simple worksheets you can print out to aide in reaching those goals.
